The quality of the paper and printing in these very old (over 100 year) copies of the Windsor Magazine cannot be compensated in the scanning sotware resulting in far from perfect reproduction in the scanned images. The quality is further reduced in compressing to the jpeg format. Quality at this level is again reduced by the website software.
